Why do I have a one-and-a-half-inch deep band of advertisements at the bottom of my email page? It means I can only see 3 emails displayed at a time.

TalkTalk Mail via an Internet browser is supported by advertising. The browser zoom level does have an impact on the number of emails in the list view. But if you take the browser zoom much below 80 - 90% the font size is possibly too small although more mail messages appear in the list view at lower zoom levels.

You do have options.

  • Use an advert blocker
I use Adblocker Ultimate with Firefox and this removes distracting advertising
Downside is you may miss some of TalkTalk's own promotions
  • Use an email client like Thunderbird or BlueMail
    I use both of these
Advantages: no advertising and free software (although you may be asked to donate to support)

It happens with webmail. Try an ad blocker.
