Legacy OneTel email address - affected by transfer to Everymail?

I have used TalkTalk broadband for a very long time, and as part of my package my family has three email addresses in the [name] @talktalk.net format

I believe I originally had an account with OneTel, but was migrated may years ago to TalkTalk. As part of that transition, I was able to retain my original email address in the [name] @Onetel.com format. That email address is linked to a lot of my online services, and continues to receive a large number of incoming messages (although it has not been able to SEND messages since the migration to TalkTalk).
On 22nd April 2026 my Onetel email address (but not my TalkTalk addresses) received an email saying "While you’re no longer a TalkTalk broadband customer, we’ve continued to provide your email service free of charge for some time. However, with this change, we’re no longer able to offer it at no cost". It goes on to say that I have to subscribe to Everymail or the email account will be deleted.
I do not see the Onetel email address in my Mailbox Manager, but I can't see any way to add it. Can anybody advise...
A) Whether I can ignore the email, given that I actually am a TalkTalk broadband customer
B) If not, what can I do to retain the Onetel address? For example, can it be converted to a TalkTalk email address and its contents migrated over?
Many thanks

Unfortunately, support staff are no longer available here and this will require you contact TalkTalk directly as the forum is now peer to peer and this is something we are, on this occasion, unable to help you with.
Please see the link in my signature for ways to contact TalkTalk.

From the 29th of March our TalkTalk Community will move to peer-to-peer support and the TalkTalk team will no longer be here to support with queries. Don’t worry we still have plenty of ways to reach out if you need to speak to TalkTalk directly. For more details check out the link here: How to contact TalkTalk Broadband - Help & Support.
