The bereavement team didn't give me the option of changing the account name, only creating a new account.
I will call the number in the morning. Hopefully they'll be able to transfer me back to our old account.

I hope it's possible for you to get this resolved. On the death of your husband, you should have been put in touch with that team to sort out affairs like simply changing the account holder name etc, rather than setting up a whole new account, which is what has led to these email addresses being associated with the old account - the added complication being it was not in your name.

When your husband passsed away did you take over the account? I'm asking this as you'll need to be the account holder on the old account which will allow us to move all your details to the new account. Please contact our bereavement team so they can sort this out.

Sorry for your loss, @MacJj.
It may be particularly complicated if the email addresses were never originally in an account held in your name. There seem to be lots of scenarios that Talktalk / Everymail never thought of for this whole issue.
There will now be a delay over the weekend as staff are not back on here before Monday. Sorry that this may take time to resolve.
