Many Tiscali email problems

I have a Tiscali email address. 

On my laptop using Coogle Chrome I cannot send emails to SOME addresses, most addresses work OK. I don't know how to fix this. 

 

On my iphone I cannot send ANY emails - I get message "Cannot send mail. Username or password for myname@tiscali.co.uk is incorrect". So I go to Account Settings to check where I know my username and password are correct - Could it be the Outgoing Mail Server(smtp.tiscali.co.uk)?

 

On my ipad - From Google Chrome - I can't even open www.talktalk.co.uk/mail - it just hangs. 

 

All 3 devices are using the same wifi

I’m on the smtp tiscali server and it normally works fine but has ‘gone down’ several times in the  last year.

Was fine until yesterday.

Hi 

 

I still cannot send emails to the following addresses from my Tiscali email address, I have changed part of the names to protect the innocent and included the error messages I received.:-

 

<info@oxxxxxtry.co.uk>: host smtp.secureserver.net[92.204.80.0] said: 550 5.1.1 <info@oxxxxxxtry.co.uk> Recipient not found.
 
 
lixxx@cxxxxxtery.com Hi. This is the qmail-send program at mail4.interdns.co.uk.
I'm afraid I wasn't able to deliver your message to the following addresses.
This is a permanent error; I've given up. Sorry it didn't work out.
<From:paxxxxer@tiscali.co.uk To:lwi98xx588@aol.com> 98.136.96.92 failed after I sent the message.

Hi Bill

Thanks for your input.

A couple of weeks ago I was advised to change my Talktalk password - which I did and I think caused more probs. 

 
I have managed to fix the problem with the iphone - I did not know that my email username & password is embedded in the Account Settings for the Incoming and Outgoing servers - the Outgoing server info did not have my username and password.
 
My email just does not work correctly - even the email with 6-digit code to logon on to this forum goes straight into my Junk folder.

Do you mean that in our iPhone, the Outgoing Mail Server is set to 'smtp.tiscali.co.uk'?

If so, that's incorrect.

The Outgoing Mail Server should be set to 'smtp.talktalk.net'. The port is '587'

The user name should be set to your full Tiscali email address.

 

In your browser, are you going to this address, https://apps.talktalk.co.uk/appsuite/  ?

What is the response?
