New Outlook

I have recently been forced like many people to change from Windows Mail to New Outlook.
Changeover seemed automatic, password accepted and emails arriving ok
Sent emails however not arriving.
Checked settings which are wrong -tried to update but system. would not accept password.
Suggestion that I have forgotten password. Accepted yesterday but not today. Some suggestion that password will be different for mail purposes to one for other Talk Talk purposes but I have never encountered this before

Are you using a .talktalk.net email, if so this has to be set up as an IMAP connection in an Advanced setup procedure. I can provide full details if required.
