Hi. I know this has occurred for others but i seem to have tried all the posted solutions. I have 2 mailboxes on my TT account. My email works fine on webmail and my iphone. My wife’s has worked 2+years then now saying on her iphone “No Password” Enter password in settings. I have tried longer much more secure passwords they only work on webmail. Still get the “No Password” message on the iphone. Can anyone help please. 4 weeks of trying no luck so far.

Hi stubbypg, I've added the mailbox to the list to be reactivated today.

Hi stubbypg

Your wife's email address has been limited to webmail only because of continued use of insecure settings on a device or devices or mail collection service that's connected to her mailbox. The iPhone will not authenticate a password until TalkTalk Support restore full access. But from then on it's essential to use only secure settings. Your iPhone may also be using insecure settings but has not yet been included in notifications that IMAP access will be withdrawn.

Prepare for TalkTalk Support - include in the Community Profile (not in these public posts):

Account holder name, TalkTalk home 'phone number (if not Data Only broadband)

Alternative mobile contact number. Full address with postcode (in the Location box)

Scroll down to Private notes to add your wife's email address and your customer account number

Check and Save changes

I'll include the guide to iPhone settings so you can check these will be ready for full access to be restored. If you need positive confirmation that both iPhones are capable of secure mail then let me know the iPhone model and its iOS operating system. Even better are screenshots of the incoming and outgoing server settings but please image edit to obscure the first part of the email address before uploading here using the picture icon above this Reply area.
