Hi!

I can see my email on a PC or laptop, but it no longer works on my Android phone - all it does is continually buffer.  It went down late last night and I have not got it working since.  I have tried uninstalling the app and reinstalling (it has changed from one showing an envelope to one showing a fuzzy T).  I have also tried restarting the phone twice but nothing has worked.  What next, please?

@Sue_talk I’m glad to hear that clearing out unnecessary storage helped get everything working again. If you run into any more issues down the line, don’t hesitate to reach out. We’re here to help!

Thank you!  Clearing cache alone did not sort it, but I found some other stuff in storage that seemed unnecessary, cleared that, and now back working again as it should.  Good to know for next time it happens, as no doubt it will.

Hi @Sue_talk First, let’s try clearing the cache for Chrome. Go to Settings > Apps, find Chrome, and then tap on Storage. From there, select Clear Cache. After clearing the cache, you can also try refreshing the webmail page. If it still buffers, you can log out and log back in.

Hi, oh maybe it wasn't Play, but I accessed via webmail address on Chrome and it automatically directed me to create app (which I was aware was simply an icon to directly go to webmail) in much the same way as you have indicated.

There hasn't been a Talktalk app on Playstore for a long time, @Sue_talk.

You just create an icon on your screen, as above, after logging in via your browser.

Yes I am on phone.  I am trying to go to webmail via browser (Chrome), as have uninstalled TalkTalk app and there no longer appears to be one to reinstall from Play store.

Sorry, this does not really help as I am not using an app from an external provider, just the TalkTalk one (which links to website apps.talktalk.co.uk/appsuite - same buffering occurs if I try going directly to website).  Strange how it was working perfectly well one minute then not the next.  I see at least one other customer also has problems accessing.

@Sue_talk this could be an issue with your device, there has not been any communication regarding webmail being unavailable on android. Please see the below link with information on how to set up the email on your android device.
