It appears this is a security issue instigated by @gmail and as Talktalk / tiscali etc does not comply, all our incoming and outgoing emails to that server appear to be blocked. Whjitch is both frustrating and rather annoying - especially as we pay for the service.
Talk Talk ought to do something. Please.

Hi all, the backlog will clear soon and you'll start to see gmail, hotmail or outlook.com messages as normal.

I reported this via phone on Friday and had a call back this morning from their technical department. They say this is most likely to be an issue at Gmail end and should contact them to report! All very well, but not all Tiscali customers have a Gmail account.

There are enough customers having these selective non-receipts of emails for it to be a problem.

If you have access to other email services, it would be worth sending an email to your Tiscali account as it might not be limited to Gmail.
I suspect Hotmail might not get through, but would be interesting to find out.

"Me too" posting on another customer's thread simply contributes to the community conversation but doesn't add to statistics for impressing upon Talktalk the extent of the issue.

I’m having exactly the same issues that’s my gmail messages are not being received into my tiscali account. Mine started a few days ago as well. Please sort this TalkTalk and update us asap

@William333, @Shortncurly, @whichard, @@1kirk, @FinnT, @Shirley27 & @Blue-eyedBoy, it will help gain Talktalk's attention and make them appreciate the size of the issue if you each start a thread each of your own!
Otherwise it looks to the automated workflow queue as though you are all simply helping one customer.
Staff will respond after the weekend.
