Hi,
I had a phishing email several days ago and went through the correct procedure of reporting it to Talk Talk, sending the phishing email as a saved file.
The email was successfully sent (3 times using the Talk Talk web app) over the following days, but I have never received a confirmation email saying it arrived. The last time the email was reported was Friday 10th January.
I have reported other phishing emails since then and the confirmation email arrived a few minutes later, as expected.
Can I assume the email has been received by Talk Talk?

Hi @Billx ,
I did actually meant Talk Talk web mail from the browser. My bad, 😁.
I agree with you. As it appears to be a one off, I will just get on with my life and raise the problem if it happens again.
Thanks for your help and suggestions.

I thought the TalkTalk Webmail App is exactly the same as TalkTalk Webmail via the browser.
Save that particular email again to a local computer folder. It's usually defaults to Documents or Downloads.
Open TalkTalk Webmail via the browser this time, rather than the app.
Open a New email To: phishing@talktalk.co.uk
Attach the saved email
Send
Its worth another try.
Other than that, I don't know why it's not sending you a confirmation.
If this is the only reported email, that you are not receiving a confirmation, just ignore it, and send the other phishing emails, in the normal way.

Hi @Billx ,
Just to update you.
I have tried your suggestion with no luck.
Using the Talk Talk web mail app the email gets sent, but there is still no confirmation of receipt.
I have also tried;
I have blocked the sender using Rules on my Talk Talk email account, but, of course, this doesn't help protect other users!

No, I've always received a confirmation.
Perhaps delete your saved file. Resave it. Open a new email, attach it, and resend it.
