Good afternoon - new member here. How do I save a receipt sent by email safely?
I tried to do this using the print option. However the downloads button warms that the file format used is eml and saving it may harm my computer so I deleted it.
Is there a workaround so that I can save the receipt as a pdf ?

Perfect. I like to do the same. Saves on paper and ink.
Useful for products and services that are guaranteed. I also put guarantee reminders in the Calendar and make backup copies of the saved PDF files.

Thank you Gondola that has worked. I do not have a printer so I want to keep copies of shopping receipts on my laptop so that I can refer to them if needed.

I think you were selecting the wrong menu item. An eml file is the standard file format to save an email message when selecting the menu item Save as file. What you need is the Print menu item that is immediately above.
- First select the email
- Then from the toolbar select the More actions triple dots menu icon
- Then select Print
The Print menu options will appear. You should see an option to Print to a PDF file.
