Hi,
For the past few weeks, at least, it has been very frustrating trying to forward or reply to TalkTalk emails on the email address linked to the account. I have more success using another email address on the account. I'm using Webmail on a PC and have tried Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge. It will only work very occasionally after many attempts.
I tried Webmail on Google Chrome via a laptop (Chromebook) and still the same.
I either get '503 - 503 5.5.1 Error: Need RCPT Command' or ''550 - 550 5.7.1 Reject for Policy Reason'.
I see some others having similar problems but can't work out the fix.
Can anyone help please?

I did not do any checks on my end. Wanted to do basic trouble shooting first.

Just for the record, the TalkTalk bill that I said didn't forward actually did forward. It just went to Junk in the recipient inbox. So, as it stands all is working as it should. I just wish I knew if someone has actually done anything.

I have just tried forwarding and replying from the offending email address and it is all working now. The only exception being my latest talktalk bill funnily enough, which I am still unable to forward. I can live with that.
Edit... The TalkTalk bill actually did forward but just went to the recipient's Junk folder rather than the Inbox.
Perhaps someone has done something your end. I will inform you if things start to go wrong again.

Are you accessing webmail through a browser?

If I click on settings in Webmail I only get options like Themes, Layout, Add email account, Install webmail like an app. I can't see the option for Mail. I'm not so good at techie stuff. Am I in the right place?
This is something that changed without any input from us. I can see from other posts that I am not the only one having this problem.

Please check your spam\filter rules to see if it not blocking you from replying or forwarding

I can send new emails but not forward emails or reply to emails... except very occasionally after many attempts.

Hi there @trapper We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused to you. I would love to look into this for you, we will need to complete diagnostics checks to detect if there is a fault. However I am also picking up a number of customers that are experiencing the same issue, we will be flagging this.
