I have often thought the same thing, the service status is always slow to respond, no matter what the issue is.
As far as I know there is no other way of reliably reporting any issue other than on the forum.

Yup, same here.
I love how TT's email service status at https://support.talktalk.co.uk/email-service-status currently shows "no known issues", yet there's no way for us to report the current issue, other than writing on this forum. Why isn't there a "Report issue" link on that page?
