This problem started on 10th September 20.44. Sending another email to someone else at 20.46 was successful. Since then, no sent emails have been successful. This problem is present whether email sent via Mac desktop or iPhone

The problem appears to have disappeared. I switched off the router for a protracted period, had to go for several hours to a prearranged meeting, then sent a test email from my TalkTalk mailbox to my gmail one which went into my inbox, not into junk. It seems to me that previously, the emails sent by me which went into the junk folder of recipients all had gmail addresses. Furthermore, I had noticed that many emails sent to my TalkTalk address over the last few days were being flagged as junk even though they were from genuine senders such as Nature, Halifax Bank, Yorkshire Building Society, etc which have now been flagged as Not Junk by me.

As for now, I am quite happy to see what happens with future emails and will raise the issue again if it reappears. At least I can receive emails and send them, albeit by using different accounts. Many thanks for your help.

So does that mean it's now working, or will you be sending more messages to others to check?

Some people have mentioned, as you have just done, that mails sent to gmail and hotmail are appearing in recipients spam, so if you find this an issue for you, could you give your experience for support staff to add to those reported.

Thank you.

@johnh19 just in case your IP address is registering as sending spam, could you try turning off your router for 30 minutes, to establish a new session, and then retesting please?

@johnh19

Ok can you still complete you profile and add the email address in the private notes field please so staff can trace your account.

Can you confirm this is happening on all sent mails or just some, i.e. to Gmail and Hotmail only for example.
