Unable to send or receive emails on an iPhone or iPad Pro after being hacked

I’ve just spent a day and a half chatting with TalkTalk after my email was hacked.

I’ve changed my passwords and am able to open TalkTalk Webmail but am unable to send or receive messages. I think that all of my contacts have had strange messages – in English – and most of my contacts are Welsh speaking, so I would not send any English messages to the majority of my friends!

TalkTalk have a Case Manager on my problem – but I’ve wasted a frustating day and a half trying to contact Technical Support which seems to be non-existent!

Good morning @MaldwynPeris. We're sorry to hear this. The Case manager is still looking into this case, they will contact once there is an update.

TT were going to contact me at 9.00 this morning – still waiting – shocking customer service!

I re-signed for another 2 years with TT three weeks ago – now regretting it! Are other providers as poor?

You need to stick with the case manager, @MaldwynPeris.

Once problems are in the system, forum staff can't duplicate the work.

Gliwmaeden2, a fellow customer.

From the 29th of March our TalkTalk Community will move to peer-to-peer support and the TalkTalk team will no longer be here to support with queries. Don’t worry we still have plenty of ways to reach out if you need to speak to TalkTalk directly. For more details check out the link in the post at the top of any forum message board.
