I am receiving numerous emails from everymail Team telling me Talktalk is updating the system and to continue receiving emails I need to follow a link to update my account. I have been given Jan 20th as the cut off date.

Is this a scam or are talktalk really updating

Don't click on links in that email.

Check the sender's name carefully.

Anything like this is from a scammer:
