I've tried too many times to get my email account updated on my android phone and PC, but it still won't work. Getting rather frustrated with all this.

Can anyone help please?

There do seem to have been some long delays that Ady was trying hard to resolve. Hopefully Ady will be back or a colleague will be back on Monday.

We are now more than 48 hours and I still can't get anything out of windows mail or Samsung mail on my Android phone. Can you investigate please?

 

I get a message that tells me that my account couldn't be verified. " The username or password is incorrect or POP3/IMAP access isn't turned on for this account. Check your email account settings on the web, then try again."

 

This is getting annoying, webmail app if awful to use on a mobile phone pages don't resize so it's hard to read most things. Seeing as we've all been forced to use webmail, it would be a blessing if you could remove the adverts, so at least I could see a bit more!

I've added the Tiscali email address to personal notes that needs reactivating.

Prepare for TalkTalk Support - include in the Community Profile (not in these public posts):

Account holder name

Alternative mobile contact number

Scroll down to Private notes to add the email address

Check and Save changes

Select here: Update your profile

Ok I've found it now using a pc, there didn't seem to be any profile options when viewing the community on a mobile phone.

I've added the tiscali email to be reconnected please.
