I cannot send new mail or reply to existing mail
I get this Message could not be sent to the following recipients: [David RECIPIENTS ADDRESS HERE (554 - 554 5.7.1 <XXXXXX@talktalk.net>: Sender address rejected: You are blocked sending mail
I have added a label but nothing further is happening

All accounts sending out spam are blocked to prevent harm to our customers and to maintain our mail server reputation.

I've asked my colleague unblock your mailbox. Hopefully, it will be done before too long.

THANK YOU My a/c is now unblocked, although I am still checking so will confirm in a day or two
Can you please tell me.
1 How did it get blocked, was there something I did?
2 If it's blocked again, can I unblock it myself?
3 I tend to check my email is working by sending a message to myself, which seems to go into my spam folder
Is this to be expected and is it causing the blocking, should I check my email is working by other means?

In reply to Ady The first thing to try is to reset the mailbox password for a new one that's never been used on the mailbox before.
I have changed my password but I am still blocked out from sending mail
I will be away from here between 11am and 5pm today

@TonyM01, welcome to the forum.
There is a queue for attention - staff are on this board during normal business hours most weekdays.
It's a case of keeping an eye out for their response during the day and getting back to them promptly then. It's not "real time" like a phone call or Live Chat.
I have removed your email address from public display. You must NEVER display your private information in the public thread.
Staff will identify your account from the information that you should put in the profile area. Go via your avatar; settings; add your Talktalk phone number or account number etc in Personal Information. Scroll down to find the SAVE CHANGES button.
Each post you added chasing this up so soon actually pushed the thread back in the workflow - it's automated till it reaches the human beings at the end of it. Give it time to reach them.
