Instead of having new digital router can i fit a device into the phone socket to convert analogue phone to digital. and a similar device for the existing analogue router i have has for a few years. The open reach mk4 socket has a smaller connection for the router

@computerman1, you might not need a new router with Full Fibre, if yours already shows a slot for a phone to insert in the back of it, but the point is the FF is totally different infrastructure.
Your Openreach mastersocket will not function and the VOIP connection needs to be requested as part of the new set up at the time of ordering.

@computerman1 it is not possible to use your existing phone socket when transferring your phone to VoIP, which is what I assume you mean by digital.
When changing to full fibre you will need to make certain you request a transfer of your phone at the same time.
Your phone will then plug into your new router for use. Your existing line will be turned off and your socket will therefore be dead.

Hi there @computerman1. thank you for reaching out. I’ve reviewed your account, and I see you're currently on a Fibre to the Cabinet (FTTC) package. Would you like to know how your telephone setup would be if you were to upgrade to an Fibre to the Premises (FTTP) package?
