direct debits

Message 7 of 7

About 10 years ago I had talk talk broadband and home phone and email. I have had the same email for 20 years so when i moved to broadband talktalk said i could still have the email managed by them.

I had a direct debit set up for about £5 per month but they stopped taking it around 2024 and I have not paid since then.

They have told me that everymail is managing my email address how do i find out how much i will pay

Thanks, @mandisa1-TT.

@Elliewin1962,

The fees are done in a similar way to Mailplus, so monthly at £5 or you can choose the annual option.

But it's no longer handled by Talktalk, so follow up with Everymail as directed above.

From the 29th of March our TalkTalk Community will move to peer-to-peer support and the TalkTalk team will no longer be here to support with queries. Don’t worry we still have plenty of ways to reach out if you need to speak to TalkTalk directly. For more details check out the link in the post at the top of any forum message board.

@Gliwmaeden2 thank you for the support, @Elliewin1962 no longer has an active broadband with us, however had a TalkTalk mail plus account with us.

So @Elliewin1962, please clarify who you are with for Broadband.

Details if you are no longer with Talktalk are here:

https://help-centre.talktalk.co.uk/Email/Find_info_or_guidance_about_my_Email/Email_Transition_FAQs

You'll see that there's an explanation on there about whether you paid by card / direct debit and what to do if applicable.

But do reply on this thread only - your second one is closed to new posts.

@Elliewin1962, are you now with Talktalk for your broadband?

If so, your email address should be linked to your Talktalk service and that might explain Mailplus no longer taking payment.

Did that coincide with your return to Talktalk?

If so, you shouldn't be paying Everymail  [Mailplus no longer exists, but everything would have been moved over automatically if you'd still been with them].
