hi all. since the mail upgrade i have four email addresses in mail manager but only three show on my webmail page i have tried resetting password,and regestering the address again   but it will  not let me add it myself i have visited the help desk twice but still no good just wondered if anyone else had this problem  any help would be appreciated  thanks    ps i am still sending and receiving on the missing address

no i do not know of any thing why it does not work at my end the only thing is something has been missed at your end as three of my four addresses show ok

@ninegt999 I understand, the main concern is you being unable to access that email at all since there was a migration that took place, being unable to access the email would mean maybe you were included in the migration when you should not have been hence I had asked above if the emails is working as it should and have no restriction or a subscribe option.

this is an old tiscali address that i have had for years all my other addresses work ok and this one is missing i use my talktalk land line for now

@ninegt999 you will not be able to add it as advised above that option is not available due to the migration.

@ninegt999 this means you are having issues with your email. Since you are stating that you ae unable to access the email when using webmail. What error are you getting when trying to access using webmail?

hi thank you for looking at my query but as i said i am unable to see or  use the missing address on your webmail page but its ok on outlook and would appreciate if you could look at this when manager becomes available thanks

@ninegt999 if the email ids working as it should, please do not worry. At the moment mail manager is unavailable due to the switch over that was happening with other customers.

@ninegt999, not sure which upgrade you are referring to, as there have been a few changes to how mail is managed over the past year.

 

If you are a current Talktalk broadband customer, make sure that ALL your email addresses (include all legacy ones too) are listed in Private Notes. 

 

That's towards the end of the Personal Information area in your community profile. So go via your avatar; settings; add your Talktalk phone number or account number in Personal Information. In Private Notes add the email addresses, as staff may need to complete a webform to connect these to your account. 

 

It may have nothing to do with legacy addresses  - so staff will check anyway and get back to you during the day on Friday.
