emails not sending from tiscali

I can receive emails but not send them on my tiscali account. I use thunderbird

What is the send error message description and the TT three digit send fail error code.

Have you tested sending direct from your mailbox?

Select here:  Sign in to TalkTalk Mail

Enter your full TalkTalk Mail email address, select Continue and enter the password, select Sign in. Select New email, compose and send the same mailbox a message to make sure you can see the message in the Sent folder and that it arrives in and stays in the Inbox.

Let me know if that also fails and how it fails.
