I cannot send an e-mail to one of my contacts. It keeps getting returned.
Also I am getting very worried by e-mails which say my account will soon be out of date and I will no longer be ale to send or receive e-mails.
I notice something called Everymail is on the community forum which is by subscription. Is this something I need to know about. I have not been informed.
My computer I gather is out of Date being windows 10. What now?
Thank you so much from a technophobe.

The legacy ones are things like @lineone.net
@tiscali.co.uk
@tinyworld.co.uk
@pipex.com .... anything that has been assimilated under the Talktalk umbrella, and even talktalk.net addresses if you had one, left and came back to Talktalk again, @Diane.
If you never left, ever, you should be fine and it sounds like this is a repeat of the error they made around the same time last month....
If in any doubt at all, just check directly with Talktalk.

Thank you so much Gliwmaeden2. I looked on the page and it seems to be for former clients and not current. The email received yesterday seems to have been sent in error.
Mind put at rest, the only thing is I am not sure what is meant by a legacy e-mail address. I have used this one for the many many years
I have been with TT.
Thank you once again.
Glad that we still have you community stars who can help us. The forum worked well, shame.

If you are a current customer with Talktalk for broadband you should not pay for emails, @Diane.
However, if you are a current customer but use legacy email addresses, you need to ensure that your email addresses are associated with your current broadband account by speaking to an agent via Chat or phoning 03451 720088.
If you have left Talktalk and then receive an email to subscribe to Everymail, after a grace period of continued free use, you would use the link in the email from Talktalk to subscribe, and NOT go directly to Everymail.
Do not click on any other email links - always check the sender's real address by hovering over the name, as there are many scam emails going out just now.
Also, Talktalk sent out an advisory email to some customers which didn't help matters at all.

If one recipient cannot receive from you, they may need to check at their end and make sure that they have you listed as a safe sender / contact. Also, if the recipient's storage for emails is full, they cannot receive more until they delete enough to allow more storage.
If the fault is not at their end, you will need to contact Talktalk directly yourself about the matter, using the same means as above.
There is no staff support on the community to resolve this, @Diane.
