gmail recovery

I have forgotten password for my gmail account. the recovery process first uses the phone number, which I dont have anymore and the recovery email is Tiscali.co.uk I asked gmail to send a code, but it has not arrived. will tiscali emails default to talktalk.net accounts or is there a process to ensure old tiscali emails arrive at my new talk talk account?
