Absolutely not, @pistnbroke.

Crooks are trying everything they can think of, playing on customers' insecurities about their email service in the light of changes evolving at Talktalk.

They will NEVER send you something important to you "as from" Joe blogs or whoever  @ Hotmail etc etc.

That email address was possibly harvested or spoofed and used by the scammers ....

Talktalk will always send from a recognised official Talktalk address.

Gliwmaeden2, a fellow customer.

From the 29th of March our TalkTalk Community will move to peer-to-peer support and the TalkTalk team will no longer be here to support with queries. Don’t worry we still have plenty of ways to reach out if you need to speak to TalkTalk directly. For more details check out the link in the post at the top of any forum message board.

The Hotmail email address is the big giveaway that this is Spam.

TalkTalk would never use a Hotmail address, on using TalkTalk in their addresses.
