Hi still trying to get my XXXXX email, linked to my account. Having spoke for several hours to talktalk customer services still not linked and will be logged out by september. according to google if i am a talktalk customer i can still keep access, for free. Help would be appreciated. thanks

Looking into the account a form was completed for you o 31/07/2025, I will need to escalate this for you. Your email services should be restored within 48 working hours.

Hi there stewarts1. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused to you. If yu have an active broadband account with us, you do not have to subscribe to Everymai and pay the £50.00, i will investigate if the back office team has reached your form.

Whatever you do, don't pay the "ransom", @stewarts1!

 

There are a lot of people complaining  - and these are just the ones we know about.

 

Assume a backlog, and always have an alternative free address anyway. 

 

Slowly the issue is appearing to be resolved for some people - really slow, I'm afraid to say.

Hi

Just a follow up. Did the back office get time to sort out my email issue. I can no longer send emails from my account. They are after a ransom of £50 . Am i expecting too much as a talktalk customer of many years.

At present Google gmail is free, maybe they will start to charge in no too distance future too.

No, I had not confirmed that you have another account, I just wanted to be sure hence I asked because your account shows a linked TalkTalk address not Tiscali. I have escalated for the email to be linked @stewarts1 please allow the relevant team to receive and action the request. Thanks

I have no idea, I just being told I have 2 accounts but no one is advising how I access my new account or even why I have 2 accounts very confused ???

@stewarts1 as TalkTalk agent I am able to see the notes. Are you referring to MyAccount portal?

OK in reply to this info, I am not aware of talktalk.net email or account. Or that I have 2 accounts. Yes I have put my tiscali email in my private notes, although it does say this is private and only I can see it ? Maybe someonewill advise how I access my new account and the required login details.???

@stewarts1, you would have been given a Talktalk.net email address which shows up in My Account and is nothing to do with the address you use to log in or for billing purposes. 

 

Talktalk now needs to link your old Tiscali email address that was associated with an old account to the account that you currently have. 

 

It just requires staff to complete the webform. As long as you have put the Tiscali address in Private Notes and saved the information [see my first reply] it shouldn't be difficult for staff to do this, though it may take a while to  enable sending of emails again.

I have submitted the form for the email to be linked, once that has been done you will need to wait for the back-office team to assist you. This can only happen if you had not yet subscribed to EveryMail.

I am not aware of a talktalk.net email. My account email is a Gmail.com. yes, I received an email saying my tiscali.co.uk email will only be accessed via everymail, and I must pay as they say I'm no longer a customer. However, i have been a customer for many years.

@stewarts1 the email that is linked to the account is a talktalk.net email. Did you receive an email advising you that your emails will be transferred to EveryMail on the Tiscali email account?

Apparently although I didn'tknow i had 2 accounts. Until 4 weeks ago everything was ok. Someone says i need to link tiscali with new account but no one can tell me my new account or how to access it.

@stewarts1,

 

I've removed the email address from public display. 

 

Please NEVER post personal information details in the public thread. 

 

That address should be stored in Private Notes, lower down the Personal Information area of your profile. Go via your avatar; settings etc. SAVE CHANGES. 

 

Staff will fill in a form which then needs to be processed by Talktalk to ensure that you are able to keep the address going without being charged extra for it.
