Hi , Recently overnight my thunderbird app has stopped accepting my password for my tiscali email. tiscali emails are not downloading in thunderbird nor are they coming to my phone anymore, it just keeps coming up with incorrect password even though all details are correct and i can access the tiscali emails through webmail perfectly fine. can anyone help please ?

I have passed it to the TalkTalk support on this forum yesterday as promised, they are not the same as the service centre. Please wait for them to respond.

thankyou but ive tried on various occasions to speak to customer service and i get passed from pillar to post and my problem never gets fixed. managed to speak to a few advisers and had one that was ringing me back(they never did) ,one that said theyll send me a link(which didnt work) and one that told me yesterday that they couldnt help me due to their servers being down and id have to ring back. each phone call has taken on average 40-45 mins too so im getting a little frustrated with it all.

That sounds more like a problem with the Tiscali email (IMAP?) servers. I have asked one of TalkTalk's support to pick your thread up and investigate it for you.
They aim to respond within 48 hours (Monday - Friday) excluding Bank Holidays, but if more urgent you can always try the Service Centre on 0345 172 0088. The posts are responded to in time/date order, oldest first.
To save yourself time, please make sure that your community profile includes your first & last names, broadband phone number & if possible an alternative contact number. This can be done by clicking on your Avatar picture and then clicking on "My Settings" followed by:-
Personal Profile > Personal Information
Otherwise, TalkTalk will not be able to tie up your forum username to your broadband account. Only you & TalkTalk have visibility of your details.
