pipex email stopped receiving emails on ipad

I have a pipex email address which I use on my desktop and my ipad mini. Overnight it stopped receiving emails on my ipad and I am getting a message saying that authentication has failed. I am still able to send emails from the ipad. I have checked the settings and they all seem to be correct. Authentication for incoming emails is supposed to be my password, which I had not changed. I have re-entered the correct password but it's still not working. Email is working fine on my desktop. Does anyone have any ideas as to how I can solve this problem, as I am flummoxed! Thanks.

I did that, and initially there was no change, but now the problem seems to have sorted itself out.

Have you tried clearing your browsing history and your cache and cookies?

Hi there. so you are able to receive your emails using your desktop however you are unable to receive them using your ipad ?
