tiscali email woes. autoreply list not working and emails bouncing

I don't know who to ask about this, so trying Community because they are usually very helpful.

I went to send emails on Tiscali today and the drop down address list did not work. (it was fine yesterday).  I have spent hours trying to find out what to do, to no avail.   I have a Microsoft 'Live' address and the suggested addresses works on there and I just tried Webmail and it worked there too, so am at a loss. 

 

The address list is a major problem for me.    Is there anything you can suggest please.     Has anyone else reported this to TT   (I saw a few when I searched for posts about New Outlook, which is what I am using   (tiscali on IMAP).

Thank you for replying, although it is not your problem.   So, I was very very reluctant to remove and reinstall email account (using New Outlook).      I have spent hours trying to see if there was another way to get my autocomplete working again.    Had to force shutdown PC at one point because it froze!   As a last resort, I went into my email account  page, clicked on Tiscali  'Manage', then clicked 'repair'  I was asked to put in my password and it added account.       Went back to try and email and the autocomplete list worked!     Hopefully it will continue to work next time I reboot PC!    I just thought I would let you know about this in case it helps anyone else.

There have been some funny issues recently with Outlook.

 

Staff here can only help with WebMail issues.

 

The suggestion is to try removing your account from Outlook and re-adding as IMAP. This seems to have worked for some.

 

As webmail is working, you'd be best addressing this to outlook or an outlook forum for help.

 

It may or may not be related to issues Microsoft are having delivering TalkTalk mail and vice versa, but this is being worked upon.

 

Try the deleting and re-adding and let us know how you get on.
