Blocking a device from internet access on the network (wired and wireless)

Hi there,

I have a TalkTalk Wi-Fi Hub version SG4K100208. I want to prevent a device on my network from having any internet access between certain times as defined by me. This should apply whether the device is connected wired or wirelessly.

Is this possible with the router that I have? HomeSafe doesn't give me what I'm looking for here.

One further point, you can set up MAC address filtering to block a device on this router, but it can't be done via a schedule. There is also the fact that MAC addresses can easily be spoofed these days & a lot of phones use randomised MAC addresses anyway. Of course, you would also need to change the router's admin password to something that these people do not know, otherwise they might log into the router themselves & enable it again.

You do not specify which WiFi hub you have out of the two Sagemcoms, but they share the same basic firmware. I am afraid that your requirements cannot be met with this router.
