Hi Michelle,

Thanks for your reply. I have not been able to do a wired test as yet but today's  speed for some reason has been much better so i will monitor it for a couple of days and see how it goes. There has been a lot of work being done recently by Openreach  which i assume is for Faster broadband.

Thanks you

Morning,

I've run a test on the line now which hasn't detected a fault and the sync speed looks consistent. Would it be possible to run a wired speed test just so we can see how the speeds compare and so we can confirm if this is solely related to the wireless please?

Thanks

Hi @redrose3,

Where are you seeing the speed as 155, is this when logging into the router ?.

Presumably you are seeing the 39-43 speeds when running some sort of speed test on the mobiles ?

Have you got any devices connected to the router using an ethernet cable, if so can you run a speed test on one of those devices and see what sort of speeds you get.

For one of the TalkTalk Support Team on this community to be able to look into this you will need to update your community profile to include :

  • Your name
  • Landline telephone number that your TalkTalk service is provided on (this is shown in ‘My Account’) OR add your account number to the ‘private notes’ section if you have Full Fibre with no landline
  • An alternative contact number

This will allow them to identify you, and they will then be able to help.

Don't post any personal details in this thread, just add them to your community profile (only you and the TalkTalk Support Team on this community can see your profile details).

Then they will hopefully be able to respond to this post tomorrow.
