End of contract and moving house

I am coming to the end of my fibre 65 contract this month. However I will also be moving house in the next few months. I don't know if fibre is available at my new home and I don't want to start a new contract if I have to cancel after a few months with penalty clauses. Any advice?

Thanks Gliwmaeden2 for the advice, much appreciated.

More research needed. TalkTalk only offering broadband at low speed in new area.

Will have to check out which providers there are locally.

Cheers

Do you currently have FTTC Fibre65 or FTTP, @Stanley_1986, as that can affect how complicated everything might be?

Worth getting information from the current owners / developers at this stage.

There's a Home Move charge of £60 even if you get exactly the same service, @Stanley_1986, and that can be avoided by taking out a new contract for the new address.

You need to be checking not just whether Fibre is available at the new address but whether Talktalk has capacity and offers it in that area, to that address - it often happens that FTTC or FTTP is available but with different providers etc.
