I've noticed that there has been an option to upgrade to a Fibre Data Only package for the last few months - but our area infrastructure hasn't yet been upgraded from copper wiring to fibre cabling. How would upgrading to this work, if we chose to do so? Do TalkTalk arrange for our premises to be specifically upgraded without the remainder of the street also being done, or would we just be paying for the package and losing a landline number until such time as the area was upgraded?
Many thanks for any light that someone could shed on this.

Hi Grant,
It would be worth intermittently checking the offers and upgrades section in your My Account to see if this has become available for you. As advised, we can't offer the service until the FTTP cabling work has been completed by Openreach or other alt nets.
Thanks
Michelle

You can only upgrade once the infrastructure is in place.
If it's not available in your postcode you will need to wait until TalkTalk say it's available to you.
