Gfast openreach modem problems

I have been having issues with my internet connection for about 3 years now. I get periods of random outages and slow speeds, down to 49mbs at times. I have had several engineer visits and they can never find any issues in the house. I was even given a 2nd gfast modem so I now have 2. When the problem starts if i swap the modem it appears to cure the problem but sooner or later it starts again. Any advice would be helpful. Thank you
