Is the Sagemfast router the only model that TalkTalk have? I am having problems with the router I have now. The broadcast range is so weak I have an extender below the router - the router is located on the 1st floor with the extender in the living room below and the extender has a orange light indicating a weak signal. Everytime I run a connection test it comes up with "We've found a fault" I've had Openreach out about four or five times and they're replaced the line to the house, checked all the connections, etc and found no fault. Only thing they couldn't test is the router. Now this is the fifth router I've had in the four years we've been here. Most last less than a year before they somehow pack in working and TalkTalk send another out.
After I run the connection test I get an email from TalkTalk saying they've found a fault then they say the fault is in our house and say here is a few checks to run that will (hopefully) fix it. But it never does and a week or so later run the connection test and same unidentified fault comes up.

Hi @Neilash
Thank you for getting back to me and for sharing all the detail — I completely understand how frustrating this experience has been, especially after several engineer visits and multiple router replacements over the years. This definitely isn’t the experience we want for you.
I’ve now escalated this with our specialist team, including the notes from the Openreach engineer confirming there’s no external fault and their recommendation to upgrade when there is no Full Fibre yet as your home address.

Hi siphosethu - Well on Saturday TalkTalk ran a line connection test -found a fault - offered to book an Openreach engineer visit - then denied a test had been run. So the next day chatted again - connection test run and Yes fault found and Openreach engineer visit booked. He came this morning couldn't find any fault on the line nor with exchange so concluded it must be the router. He said he would report his findings and recommend that a replacement router was dispatched. After a bit of too in and fro in TalkTalk agreed to sent out a replacement router so this will be my 5th or 6th router in less than four years.
Seriously considering moving to a new provider as TalkTalk does not provide full fibre here and has no idea when they will be able to. Yet there is is Full fibre in this street/area.

Hi there @Neilash, our most updated router would be the Wi-Fi hub 3, I'm not sure if comms regarding the upgrade were sent to you. Are you currently at home so I can run checks on this for you?
