I’m desperate to get internet connection which works, and a helpline where I can actually talk to a person. I’m going mad with my dodgy connection. One reach have been but not resolved it for more than 8 hours. My problem is that my landline (which I never use) and my tv and fibre broadband are all talk talk. Can I change to another provider?

If you are not happy about your service, you can leave any time, but there would be early termination fees payable if you have not given Talktalk a chance to really get to the bottom of this, while in contract. You need to give 30 days' notice or ask another company to take over the line and phone number.
