At home my mobile signal is very poor if I’m lucky, but usually non existent so I use a mobile provider that has WiFi calling and texts. I leave my iPhone in airplane mode and just use via WiFi. This was working very well for me until maybe 4 or 5 months ago.
I now find that my iPhone is constantly dropping off of the WiFi. I can’t make calls or send texts without turning the WiFi off and on in the iPhone settings. Sometimes this takes several attempts. Anyone that tries to call me just gets a message saying that my phone is turned off.
I was hoping that this problem would sort itself out, but it hasn’t. I don’t get this problem with my iPad it’s just my iPhone.
Any suggestions please to sort this out?

I unplugged the router for an hour and only time will tell if it’s worked or not.
On a plus side we have had an error on our smart tv and have been unable to connect to the internet directly from the tv since May. We thought it was a problem with the tv as we’d tried resetting the router before. After plugging the router back in this afternoon I’ve run through the diagnostic screens on the tv and now it’s all working 😁

Thanks. Could you switch your router off and leave it off for at least 30 minutes, then switch back on and retest. Please let me know how you get on
