Kidsafe not working

I’ve enabled Kidsafe and selected to block most of the categories including gambling, porn, self harm, file sharing etc.

however I can still access sites in these categories.

If i block specific sites then they are blocked.

I’ve also enabled homeworking and some sites do seem to be blocked during this time.

I’ve had multiple exasperating conversations with talk talk support staff who provide terrible advice including stating that kidsafe doesn’t block categories of sites and that I have to block each site myself.


just for completeness, I’ve done the usual, tried on multiple devices, cleared cache, checked dns etc


Appreciate advice from anyone that’s experienced the same and managed to overcome.
