I replaced my TalkTalk super router with a TP-Link Archer so that I could create a mesh network with a couple of existing TP-Link extenders. That all works fine except that, over a period of a few days I noticed a gradual decline in the downstream connection rate. It used to be around 46000 but it eventually dipped below 40000 today. Consequently, I reinstated my Super router and I'm back up to a downstream rate of close to 46000. Any thought, advice, recommended changes to settings etc.?

Hi @philipm well I have a deco 9 set of 3. One of them is connected to the TT router by ethernet cable. If you connected your archer like that then fiddled around with the archer setup in the gui of the archer you should be able to set it to access point. Then the mesh should be easy. I don't know enough about archer to give you chapter and verse, sorry.

I haven't, yet but did think it might come to that. Any tips?

Hi @philipm have you tried connecting your archer to the TT router and making the mesh from the archer? Make the archer an access point and let TT handle DHCP (not great on acronyms)
