No sound on my computer

I have had no sound on my computer for a couple of days now.  have tried everything - nothing seems to be wrong.

If thats no good go into settings/system/sound and click on troubleshoot

Also have a look at the output icon top of screen sometimes if you say use a bluetooth speaker it might still be set for that and not the speakers/headphones setting

can you tap on the icon down to your right, bottom of screen (if say Windows 10) it will be the speaker icon see if its disabled

It will be something to do with the computer speakers, but nothing to do with your Talktalk service, @Hilary33.
