How are you set up on your computer to receive emails? Using Webmail or a program such as Outlook or Thunderbird?
If the latter, deleting your email account, losing the program, then re-adding your account using IMAP settings can so!etimes cite this. It's worth noting though that Outlook have confirmed they are having difficulties with TalkTalk emails so you may have to try a couple of times, and it may not work or recur.
