If your broadband service fails or is offline for maintenance then the eero app can automatically select the eero Internet Backup. This is an alternate Internet connection.
For example, you can set up your 4G/5G mobile phone Data connection as the alternate Internet connection or if there's a nearby Wi-Fi Hot Spot to use and you have access to that service then that Wi-Fi Hot Spot could be your alternate Internet connection.
