As if this morning, for no apparent reason, connecting certain android device to the Sagem 5364 router after they have previously been connected to another access point on the same sub-net prevents them from reconnecting to the original access point.
This is new problem, as all devices have previously switched between the Sagem router and the other access point.
All devices have been restarted to no avail.
The TT router firmware is SG4K100208.
There does not appear to be any readily available source of the latest version of the router firmware.

You have the latest firmware - V208. Sorry for not seeing this before, due to the unusual board that you posted this in, hence why I have moved it. I have no idea of the package that you are on, which is irrelevant with this problem anyway, so I took a guess at the Fibre board. Thanks to @nameunknown_ for alerting me to this. Please can you elaborate a bit more & answer these questions:-

I think the earlier information you were given about the latest firmware version is most likely incorrect.
Firmware SG4K100208 is a recent update.
There is a recent post here https://community.talktalk.co.uk/t5/Broadband/sagemcom-5364-updates/m-p/3125770#M881978
where someone was asking about firmware updates for the 5364, and @KeithFrench, who is knowledgeable on such matters, confirmed SG4K100208 is the latest firmware version.

If you took the trouble to follow the whole thread you would realise that I have checked the current firmware on the router and it is out of date, meaning that it has not been updated by anyone, let alone Talk Talk

Routers firmware update automatically, if you wish to get the latest router you can then purchase it. @Anonymous thank you for that information
on 05-09-2025 12:14 PM
You can't "obtain" it, @probablyalreadyregistered.
Just leave the router on, especially overnight, when firmware versions are updated in due course.

Please read ALL my posts
I have been told that the firmware in the router is out-of-date, which implies there is a later version of firmaware.
Please tell me how to obtain a copy of the latest firmware

@probablyalreadyregistered the router that you have is also the most recent version. Should you wish to get a newer version you will be required to purchase it.

Please read ALL my posts
The router currently has firmware version SG4K100208
You said the latest version is SG4K1002816t
Therefore the router has not been updated by TalkTalk
on 04-09-2025 11:34 AM
I have checked on your account and I do see that the last router that was sent you was in 2021 and it is a Wi-Fi hub. TalkTalk automatically updates the firmware for the Sagemcom 5364 router. This means that you typically do not need to manually check for updates, as the router will receive firmware updates automatically and it updates itself.

I will check which router you are using and assist you with your query.

Given that the firmware in my router appears out-of-date, where can I download the latest version?

The most up-to-date firmware version for the Sagem 5364 router appears to be SG4K1002816t.

As should be apparent from the original post, I know the current firmware version of the TT router.
What I have been asking for is the identity of the most up-to-data firmware. Most suppliers publish this kind of information online.

Open a web browser and enter the router's IP address.
Log in using your admin credentials (default username and password can often be found on the router or in the user manual).
Once logged in, navigate to the Administration or System section.
Look for a tab labeled Firmware Version or Router Information. This will display the current firmware version installed on your router.

It looks like the main problem has partially resolved itself, although I would still like to confirm the firmware version of the TT router as the Web UI seems very unreliable.

Hi there @probablyalreadyregistered thanks for getting in touch, so that I can have a better understanding of your query. Please elaborate a little bit more. Thanks

Per my original post, if I connect my tablet to the TalkTalk router, I can no longer connect it to the second access point (which covers blind spot where the TalkTalk router out of range).
on 01-09-2025 03:00 PM
What happens when you connect it on the TalkTalk router? Thanks
on 01-09-2025 02:13 PM
Yes, this is all on the WiFi.
You should also be aware that the DHCP server is running on third platform, rather than the TAlkTalk router

Please confirm if the devices giving you issues are connected wirelessly or is the connection wired? Thanks
