White light on router but no internet

  • Hi,

 

My sagemcom router shows white light but there is no internet. The issue is resolved by restarting the router.  But the internet will cut again after a few minutes and the router will continue to show white light. I have just switched from broadband to fibre, I tried both connections and the same thing happens with both, which makes me think the issue is the router.

 

Can someone confirm this and/or send me a new router to test?

Yes I've received the router! I wanted to give it a day before replying to make sure the internet is ok. The new router has internet resolved my issue. Thank you very much for your help! I'll send back the old router in due course.

I've just checked and the router is showing as dispatched. You should receive this within the next 24hrs.

Thanks for that. Can I check the router is on the way? I usually get an email notification when I'm due to receive a parcel from talktalk, but I've not received such an email in the past couple of days?

I've requested that a router is sent, please allow 24-48hrs for this to arrive.

 

Let us know how the connection compares with this router.
