Work laptop slow on TalkTalk WiFi

Hello TalkTalk, 

 

This week I have got a new laptop from work, and the WiFi (and wired ethernet) speeds are really slow - often as slow as ~500kbs on my Fiber 65 package. Some applications, such as Teams, seem ok but all browsers are very slow.

 

Work IT support have suggested getting in touch with TalkTalk as they have not managed to find a fault with the new laptop itself after extensive searching, they think that the corporate mandated ForcePoint VPN application is causing the problem with TalkTalk WiFi. My new work laptop speeds are very fast when connected to my mobile phones hotspot and at my works offices.  

 

All of my other devices are fast and functioning as expected. 

 

I've called the helpline and they couldn't solve it and escalated it, but they said that it would take several days for someone to get back in touch with me.
