Can't access Logmein

Norton can't access Logmein:

This site can’t provide a secure connection

secure.logmeinrescue.com sent an invalid response.

This error message happens over my home network, which is TalkTalk and when I use a hotspot from my android phone.

Is there a fix for this?

Unsurprisingly, nobody contacted me, as promised.

Thanks,

Hi Andy, did the Norton team get the access they needed?

Hi Ady,

I wondered if my Scam Protection switch was lodged on my laptop as opposed to somewhere in the ether.

Norton will attempt to gain access to my laptop this evening. I'll let you know what happens.

Thanks,

Andy

Mobile data has nothing to do with TalkTalk settings or the network and router. Turning off scam protection should work if it were only when using the TalkTalk connection.

I have turned off Scam Protection now. Do you think that would solve the problem? I cannot test - it will have to wait for Norton to try to gain remote access.

No. The error persists when using mobile data.

Hi Oldnagger1, you say he same thing happens when you use your android phone as a hotspot. Is that still connected to your TalkTalk wifi from the broadband?
