As the title says I would like to get my public IP address that talktalk assign changed.

Can they do this through customer services?

Hi thanks for that, the easiest way then is to use a VPN to mask your IP. I'm in no way wishing to facilitate or encourage dubious activity.

There are plenty of free vpn just Google🙂

So i need to bypass a ban from a server where i was banned because of unknown "association".

My account is fine, but this particular server admin decided to ban me.

As i understand they ban the associated account and public IP address.

I was told a change of IP is the only way to get back on the server.

Hi @aaronjunited it provides a static IP which has no reference to your ISP.

I didn't wish to pry as to why you wished to have a new IP but if you care to advise your requirement a better solution might appear?

Duckdns is a good website to explore😄

What does the DDNS method involve? What exactly would i be doing?

Hi @aaronjunited here say may well be correct, which rather agrees with my suggestion of resetting the router or DDNS.

Good luck with whichever route you chose.

I have heard talktalk assign public IP from a pool of dynamic addresses.
Maybe it rotates on a cycle of a few different addresses.

Hi @aaronjunited the easiest way I found to change IP is to factory reboot the router. (Note any settings , WiFi password s important to you)

Another would be to go the DDNS route.

Your TT IP is not a static IP
