The pole that supplies my house was fitted with a fibre optic cable and the connector at the top of the pole. I can clearly see that the new cable on the pole is fibre optic. This went up well over a year ago (possibly 2years)
I expected to get an email saying I could order FTTP but this has never come and online still no option for FTTP.
Is there a way to check with a real person at openreach a) if the fibre is live on the pole and b) if my address is actually associated with that pole (same as where my copper pair comes from). All the web based checkers say its not available but can't quite understand why they would have gone to trouble of installing the fibre on my pole.

Hi sadley the correct it may seem simple but it not as i have a road with some house that can get VM but others cannot even people that have house next door to one and other"!!!!!

Thanks- it was a bit of a last ditch effort!
I will approach some other suppliers to see if they can help.
