BT Openreach will be installing full fibre to my home next week. I am currently on TalkTalk faster fibre 65 plan and have the sagemcom black mesh router.
1. Will that router be suitable for connecting to the ONT box? For broadband connection as well as phone?
2. What is max speed that you can get from that router?
( my contract is up for renewal in a few weeks time, and have not yet decided whether to/ which plan to upgrade to, but want to ensure I dont lose all connection when fttp installed next week).
TIA for any insights.

@Neuman, for clarification, you mean that Talktalk has already fixed up the Openreach engineer appointment?
The Sagemcom Hub2 will do fine for Full Fibre 65 - did you order VOIP with your order? This is important if you want to keep using your Talktalk phone number.
The Sagemcom Hub2 can be used with Fibre 150, but for those speeds and above, Talktalk defaults to the Eero [and to maintain phone usage you need a Digital Voice Adapter....it needs to be ordered at the same time as the higher speeds].

Hi, @Neuman
Yes , the Sagemcom can connect to the ONT, and receive full fibre.
There are two versions of the Sagemcom, the Fast 5364 and the Fast 5464.
Only the Fast 5464 can do digital voice.
The Sagemcoms can do at least 200Mbps, maybe more.
It looks like the full fibre is being installed by Openreach independently of TalkTalk
and you have not come into contact with TalkTalk yet about this.
TalkTalk should not ram the new system on you, until you have communicated with each other, and agreed.
