My Hub2 router's firmware is currently SG4K100136 but I was told by Ellie on chat that this had been updated as of 25 April and that I needed to hold the reset button for 30 seconds to update my router. I have since spoken on chat and telephone to several helpful people and I have asked for the firmware upgrade to SG4K100158 nothing has been done as far as I can see. My understanding is that firmware updates should be an automatic process and so I do not understand why mine has not updated.
I do not have an eero as I sent that back to talktalk in Feb 2022 because the wifi signal in my house was very poor. I was recommended the Hub2 by a helpful chap at talktalk and I have been happy with the wifi but I need the firmware update to see if that will solve DNS errors I am getting.
