I am moving house in a month or so but will not be able to move straight in to our new property. We will be temporarily staying in a friend's property which already has a broadband service and therefore, for a short period of time, we will not require our fibre service but will need it cut off at the place we are leaving. As we are on an 18 month contract, I wondered a) if it is possible to postpone our service until we have moved into our next property and b) whether we can take a break in payment for this period by extending the contract for the amount of time we take to have our service reinstated? Thank you.

You'll find the main options are EITHER continue to pay the current contract but pay a HOME MOVE FEE, @busshome71 OR they waive the fee if you take out a new contract with them.
I haven't ever heard of Talktalk simply suspending payments for the customer's convenience. Do let us know how you get on!
